My little girl (2.5 yrs) has very curly and long hair that get tangled every night. I use a baby shampoo but a detangling conditioner for her hair. I also use the kids detangler sprays but it still hurts to comb her hair out .
Please recommend some good products including type of comb/brush I can use.
always comb her hair before giving her shower..... ...if she has beautiful curls dont destroy it by combing with brush use wide tooth comb...and keep using detangler spray .....also apply little bit of oil before shower....this will keep her hair soft....
^ That wud still cause tangles from shampooing. Niksik once u've given her a bath use a leave in conditioner for kids pantene has one. And use a wide-tooth comb to untangle her hair..
Ive got curly hair and these are a few tricks I use:
In the shower, I use a wide tooth comb to comb out my hair when it still has conditioner in it.
I also use oil as much as possible because it does help with tangles. Your hair is softer and easy to detangle vs course hair that keeps getting bunched up.
I use Pantene's Leave in conditioner sometimes as well.
Curly hair tends to be very dry which is also one reason it tangles and breaks so easily. Use products - for kids of course - that are moisture rich so her curls can actually separate.
Another idea is to dab some oil - the tiniest bit on your hands and rub it until some is absorbed in your hands. Run your hands through her hair after its dry.
