My nuskha is sarson ka tael, with egg, pinch of haldi and lemon juice. Leave for to hours then wash.
cant wait to try some of the others here, I have very very bad dandruff and I try all sorts of remedies on it.

I used to have a lot of dandruff and I just used Sunsilk Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. It went away. Now I can’t use ANY other shampoo as I immediately get the dandruff back. But I don’t really care as long as the white stuff doesn’t come back. The trick is to wash your hair twice or even thrice with the shampoo every time you take a bath. That is, apply it and wash it, apply it again and wash it again. Worked for me.

There are many skin illnesses that can cause a dry scalp, even some fungal infections. If any of these are the cause then whatever cosmetics you use will be of limited success.

If you have the stomach for it, treat your scalp by applying real organic apple cider vinegar to it for some time and then washing it off.
The oppressive smell of ACV may annoy you but it doesn't stay.
Try this once or twice a month.
Very effective.
Google for yourself and see if you find any other recommendation regarding ACV and dandruff.

what has worked for me is tea tree oil... add 4-5 drops of TTO (100%) in your regular shampoo, leave it on for couple of minutes.. and voila... I heard it might not work for some people but it does not hurt to give it a try.

Coconut oil scalp massages before hair washes! and obviously, make sure that they wash their hair out fully, so no chance of shampoo or conditioner being left on to annoy your scalp.

Avoid junk foods, that foods included with high oil and fat. junk foods give the bad effect on your hair, like hair fall, dandruff,hair whitening. eat green vegetables, fresh fruits, and do some exercise daily.

Use Selsun blue ... but don't use them everyday. Use it 3-4 times a week ..not everyday when you take shower. Otherwise it will excessively dry your hair and dandruff would become worse. And use conditioner.

Try to make your own shampoo or hair spray. Apple cider vinegar and mint leaves can help to reduce dandruff apple cider vinegar known for its cleaning benefits while mint leaves can leave your hair and scalp cool. Make this at home by putting some apple cider vinegar and mint leaves in a spray container. Leave it for about 24 hours before using it.

DO NOT ever use anti dandruff shampoo. Or specialised formulated products, If you know what's inside them they'll do far more harm than good.
Simple but effective:
Apply an massage in a pure olive oil hair mask in to your scalp before you sleep.
shampoo it out in the morning.
Once a week, If problem persists.
