If you have the typical desi hair - wavy, frizzy, poofy - what hairstyles have worked for you?

I have curly hair that is frizzy and poofy.
For me...I always keep my hair in long layers because of the way the curls fluff out after drying.
If I feel like experimenting, I will get bangs but they have to be straightened or pinned back.

PCG, with curly poofy hair I always feel that it looks best when it's long rather than short. Getting layers also helps decrease the poofyness from the bottom.

i have curly poofy hair - i have layers, some short so they frame my face and some long at the back and ive got a full fringe/bangs. i'll post pictures once i take some :)

i keep it long with long layers and i always get it a bit thinned out during my hair cut session.. (i have VERY thick hair)
