For me it’s really traumatizing when it’s time for a hair cut! - yikes!
They usually cut it little shorter than I want to. Also, long layered hair cut looks good on me - however - they NEVER understand how I want the front face cut… They leave it long up to the jaw line and then layer it… but I hate the jaw line cut. I like the front portion to be cut up to the corner of my eyes - but it just seems I am not able to explain it to them. I also show magazine pics - but they do not leave it short in the front. I don’t know what to do…
Can some one pls help? If you understand what I am talking about? What should I be telling the lady?

i have that haircut except the layers in the front dont start rite at the chin but a little below the chin

Bangs are hot...I got bangs again a month ago and its been awesome for me! I used to have very sharp blunts a while ago but then they grew out. I missed them so I got side bangs this time.

Small pic NjMasti but do u maintain u're hair by blowdrying and straightening it? If u do, then don't worry abt it being wavy.. side swept bangs (slightly long) just incase u want to pin them back.. and forward layering looks nice. It's not super difficult to maintain either.. u just need to blowdry it inwards.
Gina: I straighten my hair once in a while only. Otherwise, I normally just use leave-in conditioner for the back of my hair and that keeps the curls better without any frizz. For the front part, however, I do use blow dryer to straighten it out a little.
P.S. I need some motivations to dye my hair, and then go for the hair cut. My hair color is fading :(
Full face is a round face.. or one with high cheekbones as well. That cut wud look nice NJmasti.. but have u're hair cut first and then dyed.. perhaps just a couple of highlights at the crown.. that gives a full-body illusion too!
Bangs are easy to maintain if u have poker straight hair.. if it's frizzy/curly/wavy hair u have to make an effort and either blowdry them or use an iron.. a trim is required every 3-4 weeks.
^^ :( yep...cant deal with that...I need something hassle free but my hair gets kinda flat at the top and my face is diamond shaped (so its wide at the cheekbones and narrow at the forehead and chin)
Sara you could leave the side bangs out and put it up in a nice sleek ponytail. Or put some nice glittery pins/clips on one side... such a cute look. I also do my hair up sometimes as a ponytail... poke my fingers right above the hairband... make like a circle... and loop the rest of my ponytail through that... cant really explain it... but it looks really pretty and fashionable yet so easy to do.
