Me and mom going to Karachi for my bro weddings in summer 2014.I want to look totally different.I have long straight hair looking for an amazing make over (hair cut,hi or low lights)
we are going after 11 years no idea who is great in hair cuts .
i want to have totally chage for myself and a decent look for 50 years mom ,plz/ suggest me the best hair dresser in Karachi . if some one can give an idea about the best hair cut high or low lights charges in best salons?

Why don't you get your cut and possibly colored before you leave for the wedding? With all the other preps, I wouldn't risk doing anything drastic at an unknown salon in Karachi

You are right but what my experience here in US the hair cut is not like we have our hair dresser do in Pak and same with hih lights.
I had high lights 2 times but it was not a good experience
My question is with who living Pak and go regularly to a good hair dresser....

I would not do a drastic makeover 4 days before a major family wedding at a salon I've never been to

You are right, I have had my best hair cut expereinces in Karachi. not the US. Try Sabs the salon or Nabila.

The best makeup places in karachi are Natasha's salon on zamzama, Sabs and Nabila. U can call them and check out their charges. As for the type of makeup u want ul need to visit them in the evening to see brides or party makeupalley. That way ul know if u want it or not and what makeup artists at a particular salon are good/bad at.
For anything with hair go either to Nabila's or Toni and guy...

I got my hair colored from Sabs, and she did an amazing job. Sit with Saba, explain her what you need - it is always good to show a few possible styles that you might be interested in. However, I do not like Sabs much for haircuts.
Toni and Guy is good, Bina Khan (Nadya Hussain was temporarily there, not sure if she still is)
Salman & Sehrina - not very renowned, the salon is in khadda market near ami's - right off of Kh-e-Shamsheer. Salman does an amazing job with both color and cuts!!!! (talks a lot thou :/)
Then there is dressing table on Kh-e-Sehar - good for both cuts and color.

Nabilas: Always satisfied, I have been getting hair cuts from them for past 5-6 years. Mehwish (dont know if she still works there) or Cathy. Both do amazing work. There hair cuts stay …even when your hair will grow you can c the layers. I was keen on not getting my length short so be sure to mention that.
Tony & Guy: Got my hair cut twice. The first one was ah-mazing. I showed the girl a picture of what I wanted and she did a great job. unfortunately I cant remember her name. The second time the hair cut was okay. I just got few layers but didnt enjoy it as i did the first time. It was some guy, not the same girl as the first time.
Hair High lights:
Mona J: A complete No-No. Maybe cause it was Eid or something but they were going crazy. They messed up my sister and my cousins hair pretty bad. & even though i insisted like crazy that i dont want any blonde shade they still added some which was annoying. It was quiet a bad experience, to be honest. We got an online package and everything was messed up in their saloon. So, I am never going there again.

Well, starting from the hair wash/head massage it was seriously relaxing. I never knew a head massage could be so good, It was hard to even keep my eyes open. He suggested protein treatment & I wasnt reluctant cause I knew I needed one, that also included a head massage.
Proceeding towards the hair cut, I showed him a couple of pictures of what I had in mind. I had long hair, so my main focus was on the length as all hair dressers tend to chop off the length to give that new look. He actually listened to me and didnt chop the hair and added very nice layers all over. so basically I was pretty satisfied. As I have fine,silky straight hair he gave nice layers.
So, a pretty satisfied and happy customer

The owner of the place is usually there and watching the stylists at work, she really made sure I loved my hair before I left
the salon and I really appreciated it.
I’ve been to Sabs as well and it’s also nice but I liked the friendliness of the girls and owner at The Dressing Table more.
