Ive heard hair conditioner is bad for you, is that true?
What is the purpose behind using hair conditioner?
Does it really add anything to your hair?

Re: Hair Conditioner
its prolly bad, i mean that thing girls use to straighten hair causes split ends, and im pretty sure straightening conditioners do the same thing too, break the H-H bonds.
Re: Hair Conditioner
i use a leave in conditioner as a moisturizer to avoid dryness n friziness. My hair otherwise look like a big mess.I don't think they r bad as hair experts advise them all the time esp for dry hair or winter season..
Spock, conditioners r diff from hair spray, mousses n gels used to style hair
Re: Hair Conditioner
^ what about straightening conditioners?
Re: Hair Conditioner
even those r imp while blow drying or using a flat iron as they protect hair from excessive damage caused by heat by acting as a barrier.
Hair conditioners have more than one benefit PSQ, it strengthens the hair and also neutralizes the pH of u're hair..The human hair keratin protein has a low molecular weight so using a conditioner is recommended.
There are diff types of conditioners such as reconstructers, oils, thermal protecters and moisturizers (the most common) conditioner also makes u're hair more manageable and keeps it supple and saves it from the harsh chemicals in shampoo's and dyes, weather and sun!
A conditioner shud just be applied to the ends of the hair-shaft.. applying it to the roots wud make u're hair flat and oily.
