Mine’s wavy as well and the ‘easy’ thing to do is just gently blow dry it (it goes straight quite easily) but I like the way the ends curl up into ringlets when left alone..
If I had more time and patience I’d wear it in proper curls more often.. Khatti’s hair is gorgeous!!
Totally off topic, but just FYI, if anyone adheres to the BDS movement, the Moroccanoil line (bright turquoise packaging) is actually manufactured in Israel and is not in fact, a North African product. It contains very trace amounts of Argan oil.
This is very interesting. The macadamia I use is very different from the picture you have here…are there 2 different kinds? I can’t post pictures here but here’s the link for the one I use:
For the castor oil, there’s a trick. Once you mix in all the oils including castor, you have to heat it up. Just for a couple of seconds. It’s supposed to be warm to touch but not burn you. Once it’s kinda warm, you’ll notice the oil mix is alot easier to work with
Castor oil in its cold form is brilliant for growing out eyelashes too.

Every other day.
2-What shampoo/conditioner do you use?
Marc Anthony sulphate free voluminous shampoo/conditioner
3-How many times you deep condition it?
When I go for a haircut, I normally add a conditioning treatment to it.
4-How many times a week you oil your hair and what oil?
I don’t. I have Argan Oil spray that I use sometimes if my hair is frizzy but that’s about it.
5-How many times a year you get the hair cut?
Every 3-4 months
6-Do you brush hair before going to sleep?
No. Is it good to do that?
7-How often do you apply hair mask and what kind of mask?
I don’t really feel the need to do this. My hair is Alhamdulillah silky, shiny, and healthy.
8-Recommend a good hair balm, serum etc
I got a sample for L’oreal professional mythic oil serum. It smells good and doesn’t weigh hair down. It’s good as a styling product to tame frizzy hair and add shine to hair.
1-How many times do you wash hair per week?
3-4 times.
2-What shampoo/conditioner do you use?
I keep changing shampoos. I think after a while your hair sort of becomes immune to the shampoo you are using. Currently using sunsilk, was using finesse before that, loreal elvive before that, and gliss before that lol.
3-How many times you deep condition it?
Whats that.
4-How many times a week you oil your hair and what oil?
Most of the time I try to oil my hair before shampooing, even if I keep it on for just 5 mins. These days I amusing kalonji oil (black seed oil).
5-How many times a year you get the hair cut?
2-3 times.
6-Do you brush hair before going to sleep?
Nope.
7-How often do you apply hair mask and what kind of mask?
Maybe 3-4 times a motnh. Usually its just egg but sometimes I add yogurt and olive oil too.
8-Recommend a good hair balm, serum etc
Never used one.
I defiantly recommend using a coconut oil hair mask it makes your hair amazingly smooth and soft. As for hair care it depends on you hair type try buying products that combat your issues if you have dry hair buy only moisturising products and products for dry/damaged hair. The argan oil is also great keep using that :)
As i don’t like the mustard smell, i applied twice and left the full bottle there, would try almond oil with mustard oil. And Woah olive oil smells bad? never smelled it actually haha.
Last weekend, I tried lemon juice, olive oil, one egg and bit of milk, great hair mask.
Yeah the one i used is Macadamia oil shampoo and conditioner, this package.
I always apply warm oil in my hair, i have mixed different oils in a bottle, take it out ,heat it up before applying but when it comes to washing up, i make sure to shampoo three times so it goes all away. Or may be i should reduce the amount of castor oil next time.
I once tried on eye lashes but didn’t like it, felt my lashes got too greasy.
**1. **How many times do you wash hair per week?
2-3 times a week. If I am working out, then maybe more. Depends on how oily my hair is
**2. ****What shampoo/conditioner do you use: **
Currently Alaffia’s Shea Moisturizing Shampoo/Conditioner For summer I sometimes use Dr Bronner’s peppermint shampoo (Its tingly and prefect for a hot day)
**3. **How many times you deep condition it?
Once a week. I use the Phyto masks (Pretty good stuff)
**4. **How many times a week you oil your hair and what oil?
2-3 times a month. I have oily hair so don’ t need much. I live in a hotter climate so Coconut works best. I add peppermint, cloves and some essential oils to stimulate my scalp and make it smell good.
Yep, it’s the same one. I found that I had so much frizz before and since I live in a hotter climate, my hair used to puff up under the sun. After using this shampoo regularly, my hair is sleek when I go out in the sun.
