OK ladies, I have black hair, long as in a good few inches below my shoulders. They are usually voluminous and frizzy (
) but I iron them straight and they look fine. I need to get some highlights but am avoiding the gold ones as I don’t want anything drastic or dramatic but I need a change and I want to be able to notice the difference. I was thinking reddish tones. I have a medium complexion.
Please advice.

i always liked the idea of low lights specially when u have black hair. go for maroonish/burgundy color in low lights. i have seen many people in it and they look really nice

usually highlights on jet black hair look a little odd.... if you want reddish highlights you should dye your hair a shade or 2 lighter and then do some brown-reddish highlights. i have a pic i was going to do my hair too but i have NO idea how to upload a pic....if someone can leme know ill post it asap!

I know a european lady who has greying hair and dyes all of her hair black, bar one streak near the front of her hair... it looks so cool when she has it all bouffant-ish and coiffed! :)
Hmmm if you don't want light goldy coloured ones, how about a mixture of dark/light browns... i think they'll look really nice with your skin tone, more-so than red shades...

go for medium or light brown shades cuz dark brown will jst diappear. dont go for too light either it will look plain dumb.

Believe me I have seen ladies wear gold highlights with jet black hair.

ya i once got ash blonde highlights with my jet black hair it looked kewl but i wont do it again tho ..nywayz y dont u go for one shade dye instead of highlights like dark blonde or burgundy with violet hue
