They shudnt be doin that man.....so wat if they won from india , i know indian team is tuff but still they havent won the world cup ..

[font=Times New Roman]Well that’s the way paki fans are. They are very very emotional when it comes to cricket and specially Pak India matches. I don’t mind the respect and appreciation they are getting right now. I believe they fully deserve that. Tell me honestly how you all felt when they won in Bangalore test against all odds and then in ODI’s. At that time I am sure most of us acted or atleast felt that pride within ourselves which people in Islamabad felt and showed yesterday. Probably people in Pakistan would not understand my point, but people like me who are abroad in a community full of hindians will get my point. It becomes really a matter of honor when our team kick ass, specially when you have company of few hindians as well. However I totally hate the actions of these fans when the same team faces defeat. Few months ago when this team was crushed by aussies, the effigies of the team players including inzi and woolmer were on fire. Let people responsible for cricket and media take due action against them but please for god sake don’t go on the extreme side. I wish cricket fans will become more and more mature and sane when it comes to digesting defeats.

I think its a bit too much, they have won the ODI series and levelled Test series against India :k: … would they 've done all this if we had won series against Australia ? I doubt. Appreciation is good, but giving so much glory to this achievement is very likely to make some players think “superstar” of themself ( I hope it doesn’t happen). Believe me we have just defeated India whose ODI ranking is only 8, we still have a long way to go !

They are freakin acting like they've won the world cup....heck even winning the world cup does not warrant this over the top giltzy celeberation....unless you are doing it for political reasons.....

Idea is nice, Execution was not as perfect as it could have been. But dont you people forget that this young team needed a boost. Yes they havent won the worldcup but coming back from a position where they were down and out. They made us proud and after all the maligning and accusations they recieved after last year's series against India, they deserved this.
