Bomb what to the stone age? They bombed half of Kabul to get the Taliban to leave. Entire residential areas. They nearly took out Rabbani with a bomb or two in 2002. Seriously where do you get this notion that they only used 2% of their might? They used more than 50% of it in Afghanistan and that included Special forces laser tagging targets, smart bombs, cluster bombs, you name it they used it.

A rewind of few decades it almost looks like a repeat of NoKo and Vietnam or what they say history repeats itself. In NoKo alone 8 million perished, US used every thing in its arsenal only short of nukes thanks to USSR threat of paying in kind or US is not a country that respects any laws or conventions/treaties. What US has done in Eyraq or Astan one can write volumes but than what’s the point, some chose to live in denial.
