i’m away to azad kash’ and pak soon and want to buy hadith books from there the like of abu daood, sahih muslim shareef, tirmizi.. but i wanted to know what factors should i consider befre buying them… do authors of diff’ fiqh and sects etc compile them i hope that was clear.
Forget about the fiqh's stuff, just buy the books for they are enlightning. I would also advise you to buy a set of Ibn-kathir abridged tafseer. It will help you understand the quraan - it is simply beautiful when you can comprehend the meaning of quraan when it is being recited in Salaat.
My recommendation will be Zia-ul-Quran written by Pir Mohammad Karam Shah Al-Azhari. Based on what I know of your aqeeda, that is the perfect book for tafseer of Quran.
That is in addition to any ahadeeth books you may want to collect.

Buy books from Dar USalam Publishers. Either you can do that
in Pak or from Internet. These books are available in Urdu as well
as English. But buying Hadith books and taking them back to your country is not going to be easy. Weight buhat ziada hujayee gaaa.
I recommend Riad Uz Saliheen.(Darusalam publisher).
Or Its urdu translation by Hafiz Yusuf Islahi.
jazaks' to all very helpful indeed, don't worry abou the weight bhai, it'll be all worth it in the end. + these books which cost a bomb from abroad will be cheaper in pak.
But avoid Dar Us Salam English translations as they are usually quite poor from my experience.
Rather than stocking up on sets of hadith books my strong recommendation would be to buy just a couple along with their commentaries, you will benefit much more from the hadith work this way and get far more out of it. That's assuming the below commentaries are available in Urdu - perhaps someone can confirm? (they aren't in English as far as i am aware). These run into a number of volumes however.
Start with one of the following...
Sahih al Bukhari with Hafiz Ibn Hajr's commentary, Fath al Bari (a quite brilliant, well rounded look at every hadith in the Sahih)
Sahih Muslim with Imam al Nawawi's commentary, Sharh Sahih Muslim

The paper quality might be good but the accuracy of the translations is probably not as good... they have some useful titles though but you need to be wary that their English translations may not necessarily give the best rendition of the Arabic text
