i totally disagree. I think Hadiqa Kiani is the best pop singer after Nazia Hassan. And i don’t think Shazia Manzoor or Fariha Parvez are comparable to her in anyways. I remember when i was very young, she used to come into this children’s program as a host on PTV and she had a great voice and she was very much into classical stuff in that program, for those who think she doesn’t have a good music background. And she has made lot of hits compare to any other female in Pakistan so dafinitely she is not over rated.

Let’s not blame Hadiqa for the way she sings, at least she’s breading more female talent to come through.
But, she will be remembered as a valuable pioneer in the progress in Pakistani Pop for Women.
Actually, Abrar started off a little shakey. He only had 3 hits on his first album. But now look at him, he’s all the way on the top, and he deserves every bit of it

Put it this way, everyone has their own opinions on every artist.
There is NOTHING you can do now whether Hadiqa is a hit or not, that’s life.
Btw.. I like Hadiqa’s videos, though it may not make that much sense, it’s quite hype.
(Better than those videos where they sing in the places with horrible quality possible).

“jayoon main tuje chor kay kahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan” is her first solo track. Her album is about to release by Lips Record. Actually she always wanted to become a singer and not an actress/model…so now shez into singing stuff…
her first song i saw was not that bad..
i spoke to her on phone yesterday, and she told me that she has finished recored all her songs on Digital Audio Tape (DAT)…so album can be out anytime now
