Hadiqa and Zaki's 'Rough Cut'

Pop and Folk icon Hadiqa Kiyani and Jazz and Rock sensation, musician-song writer-guitarist-vocalist Aamir Zaki have put together their Heavy Metal passion in an upcoming album Rough Cut. They both have contributed in ideas and vocals and even music. All songs are written, composed and played by Zaki. The songs are in English and both artists have sung them in a unique way which they have not done before (atleast for Hadiqa its true). She is in Karachi these days and finalising the recording and mixing etc.

All thumbs up for the two great artists for such a great experiment :k:

Albeit they are not expecting any commercial sucess of the album, but it will be a great contribution in Pakistan’s Heavy Metal scene and will be welcomed by a tremondously growing rock nation.

:jhanda:

so what’s hadiqa gonna sound like singing for heavy metal songs? a desi amy lee from the band evanescence i suppose :hehe:

soundz like a lot of crappy music. God, all these wannabe metal bands......

^ dude its called experimentation and trying to become a metal band is not their purpose.
