Now this is also very important question and fact which we all can see these days in marriages. most of the parents and people themselves dream for richer ones to be married with.
Everywhere you could see materialism, by wealth you can definitly live a happy life but still you cant have a sense of “Sakoon”.
why most of the people go for lanah of JAHEZ which is a very stupid thing to do. which must be rejected becoz this is also a factor bcoz of which many women are waiting at their home for their term to come. but the demands of the cruel ppl are so high.
there are many lower class or middle class families as well who are highly affected by this lanah. and still people do rishta in such cruel and greedy families.
no modesty, no sacrifice just jahez and jahez and jahez. a stupidity this is. and if women family cannot fulfill their demands then either rishta is broken or given talaaq or they are teazed all the life after marriage for their “BIG SIN”.
Now what about that? yes there are still some families who dont see these stupid matters but still most of the families are like that. and when it comes to one’s own daughter, sister then ji this is a brutality and boy’s family is cruel and we will protest against this.
I do agree maang kar jahaiz lena bayghairti aur faqeer honay ki nishani hai. Family apni khushi say apni larki ko uski asani kay liaay jo day dain unki marzi laikin faqeeron ki tarha mangna bohat bura hai.
I always hated faqeers who ask for jahaiz.
I would not ask for jahaiz from girl family not a single penny. But I would love to marry in a rich family or middle class family why? Because (excuse me for my truthfulness and straight forwardness) I saw most or some (please note) bhookay nungay family do behave like bhookay for all their life. Their greed doesn’t even lessens even if you keep putting loads of money in their halaq.
Yeah I wouldn’t go to marry in poor family aka greedy family. But again If I’ll find an Alima/Alim and/or Hafiza/Hafiz in a poor family and not in rich or middle class family then I would prefer Alim(a) and/or Hafiz(a) in poor family.

very simple! Parents have gone THROUGH CRAP in their own lives because they were not well off. So they just want to make sure their kids get what they did not!
