So we’re baaaaaaack!! We had SUCH a nice time even though it started out pretty badly. Middle son had a stomach virus during the drive from our neice’s house to grandma’s - a 7 hour trip where he was puking poor little guy. So the 7 hour trip took almost 9 hours with stops for cleaning up, changing clothes etc. We arrived and the next day, I came down with it lol. ack. BUT after that, we went to this zoo, WHAT a wonderful place it was, you can feed the animals and get really pretty close to them. Saw peacocks with tails open, lions roar, baboons going nuts…good time.
Also went to beach and collected hundreds of seashells, went fishing and crabbing - yup I baited the hooks and everything lol! All we caught was 2 little hermit crabs in the trap, no fish but a lovely time was had.
Last but certainly not least was the NASCAR speedpark. Boys all got to drive race cars of varying size based on their height…I was having a heart attack but boys were having a blast.
We drove home yesterday - mama tired lol! Left at 4 am and arrived home at 4 pm so 12 hours driving. Boys were SO very good and we were all SO very happy to see the Dad.
So thats our vacation. We had a blast but its good to be home.
