Re: haar?

it just goes on bride and groom... not the parents.

Re: haar?

arrange haars for very close male relatives of baratis
and gajraas for close female relatives..

but only fresh flowers for gajraas....
but for males u can use artificial flowers...coz fresh flowers make stains on clothes.

dont arrange expensive ones u can make haars at home ...very simple.

Re: haar?

I'm personally not big on haars.. But if you'd like flowers are a beautiful addition to any wedding.

haars?..haha.. do u mean for the head like a tiara..lol!..hehe.. or for the galla?..:chuckling:…OMG ur funny..

Re: haar?

Haar = for the galla
Taaj = for the head

She obviously meant for the neck..

Re: haar?

Do a haar for the groom, and boutonieres for the barati men. Do wrist corsages/bracelet for the barati ladies. No barati man is going to sit around wearing a haar throughout the wedding. As for gajras in the hair, I doubt any lady with her hair done up is going to immediately stick a gajra in it, but they will wear a wrist corsage.

Men's boutonieres are fairly inexpensive...as little as $5 each depending on the flower used. The haar can be made at home, but use store bought flowers. There are too many bugs in home flowers.

Re: haar?

you should go for what you like.
