~*H.A.D.I.T.H*~ of the Day

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

ALLAH (SWT) says "Fear God and he will give you knowledge" (Al-Quran-2:282).

ALLAH (SWT) says "If you know not, then ask those who have got knowledge of the Book" (Al-Quran-16:43).

'The learned among His servants fear ALLAH (SWT) most' (Al-Quran-35:28).

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

Hadith 4:16

Narrated Abu Huraira:

When Allah revealed the Verse: "Warn your nearest kinsmen," Allah's Apostle got up and said,

"O people of Quraish (or said similar words)! Buy (i.e. save) yourselves (from the Hellfire) as I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment; O Bani Abd Manaf! I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment, O Safiya, the Aunt of Allah's Apostle! I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment; O Fatima bint Muhammad! Ask me anything from my wealth, but I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment."

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

I have NOT read the whole thread yet so I am not sure if the following is already shared or not but even if it is, I am putting it here for a reminder at least… It is taken from Harun Yahya’s website:

According to the Qur’an, on the Last Day the Prophet :saw2: will say that his own people will have abandoned the Qur’an: “My Lord, my people treat this Qur’an as something to be ignored…” (Surat al-Furqan: 30) It is also revealed in the hadiths that, during the End Times, the Qur’an’s guidance will be disregarded and people will stray from it.

Near the establishment of the Hour there will be days during which (religious) knowledge will be taken away (vanish) and general ignorance will spread… (Bukhari)

**There will come a time for my people when there will remain nothing of the Qur’an except its outward form and nothing of Islam except its name and they will call themselves by this name even though they are the people furthest from it. **(Agreed upon)

A comparison is made in Surah Jumuah, verse 5: “The metaphor of those who were charged with the Torah but then have not upheld it, is that of a donkey carrying books…” There is no doubt that this verse applies as a warning to Muslims, reminding them that they must be careful not to fall into the same grave error. The Qur’an was sent down as a book of guidance for people to observe.

The Prophet:saw2: said that, despite the fact that the Qur’an will be read, the knowledge and wisdom it contains will not be considered. This is another sign of the time of the End Times.

There will come a time upon the Ummat when people will recite the Qur’an, but it will not go further than their throats, (into their hearts). (Bukhari)

Allah’s Messenger :saw2: spoke of something and said:** "It will happen when knowledge will be no more. " **

(Ziyad) said:** “Allah’s Messenger, how will knowledge vanish despite the fact that we will be reciting the Qur’an and teaching its recitation to our children and our children will teach its recitation to their children up to the Day of Resurrection?” **

Thereupon he (the Prophet:saw2: ) said: “Ziyad, do these Jews and Christians not recite the Torah and the Bible but not act according to what is contained in them?” (Ahmad, Ibn Majah, Tirmidhi)

It is a sign of the End Times that some Muslims will follow the example of heretical Jews and Christians and imitate them blindly.

The Prophet:saw2: said,** “Surely you will follow the ways, of those nations who were before you, span by span and cubit by cubit (i.e. inch by inch) so much so that even if they entered a hole of a lizard, you too would follow them,” **

We said**, “O Allah’s Messenger! Do you mean the Jews and the Christians?” **

He replied,** “Whom else?” (Bukhari)**

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

^Thought provoking indeed. JazakAllah khair AQ brother for a beautiful reminder and a much needed warning.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said,

"O Muslim women! No one of you should consider insignificant (a gift) to give to her neighbour even if it is (a gift of) the trotters of a sheep".

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Commentary: This Hadith means that neighbours should present gifts to each other. The rich men and the poor according to their means. One who is poor should not think that what he is presenting to his neighbour is not worthy of giving. Even his humble gift, provided it is presented with sincerity, will find acceptance with Allah. According to the Noble Qur'an: "So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an ant (or a small ant) shall see it.''(99:7)

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said,

"He who believes in Allah and the Last Day let him not harm his neighbour; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day let him show hospitality to his guest; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day let him speak good or remain silent".

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayra (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Glorious Prophet of Islam (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "Five things are from the traditions of the Prophets of the old: circumcision, removing the hair below the navel, trimming the moustaches, cutting the nails and removing the hair from armpit". (Bukhari, Muslim)

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayra (radi Allahu anhu) reported that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "Trim your moustaches and grow your beard and follow not the fire-worshippers". (Bukhari, Muslim)

Sayyiduna Zaid Bin Arqam (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Beloved Rasool (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said:** "He who does not trim his moustaches is not of us"**. (Tirmidi, Nisai)

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayra (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said:** "He who does not shave off the hair from the abdomen and does not cut his nails and does not trim his moustaches, is not of us".** (Muslim)

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

the Prophet Muhammad (pubh) said,

“Give good news to those who go to the masjid in the darkness of the night to offer the prayer in congregation that on the Day of Judgement they will be provided with a perfect light.”

(Tirmidhi)

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

There is a hadith of Salman al-Farisi to Abu'1-Darda', whose wife had begun to neglect herself because she was so depressed by her husband's lack of care for her: `Allah has rights over you, and so do your wife and children. So try to fulfill all these rights. The fulfillment of one duty should not cause the negligence of others.' When the Prophet (s) was informed about this, he said that Salman was right.

(Bukhari.)

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

** Allah's Mercy**

In Saheeh Muslim it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: *“Allaah has one hundred parts of mercy, of which He sent down one between the jinn, mankind, the animals and the insects, by means of which they are compassionate and merciful to one another, and by means of which wild animals are kind to their offspring. And Allaah has kept back ninety-nine parts of mercy with which to be merciful to His slaves of the Day of Resurrection.” *

Muslim, al-Tawbah, 6908.

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

It was narrated that ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab said: Some prisoners were brought to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and there was a woman among the prisoners who was searching (for her child). When she found her child she embraced him and put him to her breast. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to us, ‘Do you think that this woman would throw her child in the fire?’ We said, ‘No, by Allaah, not if she is able not to.’ The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘Allaah is more merciful to His slaves than this woman is to her child.’”

Agreed upon. Al-Bukhaari, 5653; Muslim, 6912.

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ** one’s deeds will ever admit him to Paradise.” They said, “Not even you, O Messenger of Allaah?” He said, “No, not even me, unless Allaah shower me with His Mercy. So try to be near to perfection. And no one should wish for death; he is either doing good so he will do more of that, or he is doing wrong so he may repent.” **

Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5349; Muslim, 7042

So the believer must remain in a state between hoping for the mercy of Allaah and fearing His punishment, for Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Declare (O Muhammad) unto My slaves, that truly, I am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most-Merciful.
And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment”

[al-Hijr 15:49-50]

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

^Beautiful! Very beautiful. JazakAllah Khair sister, may Allah (swt) reward you for your sincerity in sharing good knowledge.

For Married People

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “When anyone sits between the four parts of her body and exerts himself (has intercourse), bathing becomes obligatory (for both).” (Muslim)

Sa`id ibn Al-Musayab (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (may Allah be pleased with him) said to ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her),“I would like to ask you something, but I am embarrassed.” She said, “Ask and don’t be shy, for I am your mother.” He asked about a man who had intercourse but did not ejaculate. She said, on the authority of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), “If the two circumcised parts encountered each other, ghusl is obligatory” (Ahmad and Malik)..

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

“Blessed are the women of the Helpers. Their modesty did not stand in the way of their seeking knowledge about their religion” (Bukhari and Muslim)

It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked about a man who notices some wetness but does not remember having a wet dream. He said, “He should do ghusl.” He was asked about a man who thinks that he had an erotic dream but does not see any wetness. He said,** “He does not have to do ghusl.”** Umm Salamah said, “O Messenger of Allaah, does a woman have to do ghusl if she sees something like that?” He said,** “Yes, women are the twin halves of men.”**

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

Abdullaah ibn Mas’ood said, “We were with the Prophet while we were young and had no wealth whatsoever. So Allah’s Messenger said,

“O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty (i.e. his private parts from committing illegal sexual intercourse etc.), and whoever is not able to marry, should fast, as fasting diminishes his sexual power”

[Bukhari:5066].

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

Hadith
Asmaa' bint Omays, radi Allahu 'anha, said: Allah's Messenger,
sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, told me, "Shall I not teach you
words to say whenever you are aflicted with something? Say:
'Allahu Rabbi (Allah is my Lord), Laa Shareeka lah (He has no
partner).'" - Abu Dawood

** [Lessons from this hadith]**
The entire universe is the creation of Allah. When you find yourself aflicted by something, follow this advice of what to say and notice what happens. Allahu rabbi, laa shareeka lah!

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

From the Qur'an
{And give glad tidings to the humble. Those whose hearts, when
Allah is mentioned, are filled with fear, who show patient
perseverance over their afflictions, keep up regular prayer, and
spend (in charity) out of what We have bestowed upon them.} 22:35

[Lessons from this verse]
There are four ingredients to humility for the sake of Allah. 1. A heart conscious of Allah; 2. Having patience during afflictions; 3. Regular in Salah; and 4. Giving
charity. Are you missing an ingredient? Go add it today!

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

From the Qur'an
{It is part of the Mercy of Allah that you deal gently
with them. Were you severe or harsh-hearted, they would have
went away from you: so pass over (their faults), and
ask for (Allah's) forgiveness for them; and consult them in the
affairs (of the moment). Then, when you have taken a decision, place
your trust in Allah. For Allah loves those who place their trust
(in Him).} 3:159

[Lessons from this verse]
It is not the snake bite that kills, it's the venom that flows through the blood. The antidote is forgiving people. Don't let anger rent space in your mind and heart. Forgive and pass over people's faults.

Re: ~H.A.D.I.T.H~ of the Day

From the Qur'an:
39:8 When some trouble touches man, he cries to his Lord,
turning to Him in repentance: but when He bestows a favour
upon him as from Himself, (man) forgets what he cried and
prayed for before, and sets up partners to Allah, thus
misleading others from Allah's Path. Say, "Enjoy your blasphemy
for a little while: verily you are (one) of the Companions of
the Fire!" 39:8

[Lessons from this verse]
We normally reserve turning in repentance to when troubled times come upon us. No, we are equally commanded to turn in repentance when the mercy of Allah is showered upon us, because that is the time so many people attribute that mercy to other then Allah.

** A N G E R **

“…who repress anger, and who pardon men; verily, Allaah loves Al-Muhsinoon (the good‑doers).” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:134]

“And those who avoid the greater sins, and Al‑Fawaahish (illegal sexual intercourse), and when they are angry, they forgive.” [al-Shooraa 42:37]
