From the Qur'an
{So she watched out for him from a distance while they did not
notice. We kept him from nursing at first, and so (his
sister) said: "Shall I lead you to a family who will look after
him for you? They will take good care of him."
Thus We returned him to his mother so that he might comfort her
and she would not feel sad, and so that she would know that
Allah's promise is true, even though most of them do not realize
it.}
~ Surat AlQasas 28/12-13
[Lessons from these verses] Allah promised to protect and return
baby Musa, alayhis salam, ... and He fulfilled His promise.
When Allah promises us something, it will happen. What has Allah
promised you, and is there any doubt in your Creator
fulfilling it?
JazakAllah khair sisters pinks, dushwari, sabriya786, ask99, aqal_less and brothers HHL & teggy for your kind and valuable contribution.
It was said by Malik that the Prophet 'Isa ibn Maryam (as) used to say,
"Do not speak much without mentioning Allah because you will harden your hearts. A hard heart is far from Allah, but you do not know. Do not look at the wrong actions of people as if you were lords. Look to your wrong actions as if you were slaves. Some people are afflicted by wrong action and some people are protected from it. Be merciful to the people of affliction and praise Allah for His protection."
And if your Lord had pleased, surely all those who are in the earth would have believed, all of them; will you then force men till they become believers? (010.099)
And it is not for a soul to believe except by Allah's permission; and He casts uncleanness on those who will not understand.(010.100)
Say: "Behold all that is in the heavens and on earth"; but neither Signs nor Warners profit those who believe not. (010.101)
“Be mindful of Allah, and Allah will be mindful of you. Be mindful of Allah, and you’ll find Him before you. And if you ask, ask Allah. If you rely, rely on Allah.”
[Related by Tirmidhi, who deemed it sound and rigorously authentic (hasan sahih)]
“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak the good or remain silent.” [Related by Bukhari and Muslim].
It is related on the authority of Abu Haraira (ra) that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said,
"On the day of resurrection, seven persons will be under the shadow of Allah;
the 1st, the judge who is just;
the 2nd, the man who devotes his life in the worship of Allah even in his youth;
the 3rd, the man who eagerly awaits the call to prayer to go to the Mosque and worship Allah;
the 4th, the two friends, who love each other for the sake of Allah, when they meet they meet for the sake of Allah, when they separate they separate for the sake of Allah;
the 5th, the man who resists the temptation of a woman who is beautiful and comes of a respectable family and tries to incline him towards her for evil purposes;
the 6th, the man who gives alms with his right hand but conceals it from the left (does not show off);
the 7th, the man when alone, meditates on Allah, and his eyes become filled with tears."
Al-Bukhaari (555) and Muslim (632) narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The angels of the night and the day come to you in succession, and they meet at Fajr prayer and at ‘Asr prayer, then those who stayed among you ascend and their Lord asks them, although He knows best about them, ‘How did you leave My slaves?’ and they say, ‘We left them when they were praying and we came to them when they were praying.’”
“How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for all his affairs are good, and that is for no one except the believer. If something good happens to him, he gives thanks, and that is good for him, and if something bad happens to him, he bears it with patience and that is good for him.”
A group of three men came to the houses of the wives of the Prophet asking how the Prophet worshipped (Allah), and when they were informed about that, they considered their worship insufficient and said, "Where are we from the Prophet as his past and future sins have been forgiven." Then one of them said, "I will offer the prayer throughout the night forever." The other said, "I will fast throughout the year and will not break my fast." The third said, "I will keep away from the women and will not marry forever." Allah's Apostle came to them and said, "Are you the same people who said so-and-so? By Allah, I am more submissive to Allah and more afraid of Him than you; yet I fast and break my fast, I do sleep and I also marry women. So he who does not follow my tradition in religion, is not from me (not one of my followers)."
