Gwadar Plot

Hello,

I want to buy a plot in Gwadar. Is there somebody who can tell me if it is the right thing to do it? IS it a good investment for the future? Or is it better for me to invest somewhere else in Pakistan?

Somebody who can give me tips or advise?

I’ve seen the prices in Gwadar are not high now.

Thanks

Re: Gwadar Plot

You are right that at the spot of time the prices of plots are not so much high in Gwadar but with the passage of time they are increaisng rapidly. The value of place or plots is becoming more and more as the days passing.
It is better to invest in Gwadar because the Gwadar port is going to be an International port and the business especially import / export can be flourished very easily and a great profit can be gain by the investment in Gwadar.

Try golden palms!

Re: Gwadar Plot

too late ................. good land / plots in gawadar has been sold out

Re: Gwadar Plot

Gwadar I think has a lot of potential, in the long run. It could potentially rival Karachi one day.

Re: Gwadar Plot

govt still has to get the bugtis, marris under control there ..they are still disrupting things there.

Re: Gwadar Plot

well you should have come a month earlier, just 2 weeks ago prices doubled cos of port sale, now dnt miss the bus again, port will open next month and again prices should double.

but its not all rosy cos there is big chance of fraud in gwadar there is very low secuirty there and thats why i havnt invested in that place. better will be to invest in lahore, or if you want to risk then go for gwadar, cos you can earn lots of cash if it goes right, in lahore right now property market is abit dead, prices are low so its good to buy now and hold it for a few years and then sell.

Re: Gwadar Plot

I thought about buying in Gwadar a couple of years ago but in the end decided not to. Main reasons for not buying:

  1. There is nothing out there at the moment - you are buyng land in the middle of nowhere. Even if it does develop, it will take ages, and you can find better investments to give you a good return in 15-20 yrs !!

  2. Unless you are a Balochi, it will always be unsafe to buy there - you never know what will happen.

  3. There are no big cities nearby - its success is purely down to the port's success.

  4. Once it does take off, because of all the available land around it, there will always be an oversupply of plots.

  5. I heard there is plenty of fraud going on.

If you have some spare money, forget Gwadar and buy in islamabad - prices have dropped to almost half the pre-earthquake value (non confirmed - heard from friends) and there is more potential plus it is safer.
