well then it's simple, he couldn't possibly be 'the man of her dreams' if he can't stand something so common and human as stretch marks.
cant imagine a man like that being very 'dreamy' myself; i mean he is just digging a hole for himself. If he's going to be holding his future wife up to such standards, she has every right to judge him on as ridiculous standards.
id say kick him to the curb.

Im so thankful for having a guy like my husband.. after reading all these posts im a bit shocked to say the least
ive got a fist size keloid scar just below my neck, so i cant wear any low cut stuff (Alhamdulillah for that) and i also have a huge scar on my leg due to a skin graft... and not once has the hubz complained about it

I've got scars all over from being a rowdy kid and falling and scraping, and some from my more recent misadventures!
It's part of being human. No one is perfect and stretch marks happen when your body changes rapidly (getting pregnant, having a growth spurt etc). It's no big deal.
Only a shallow, materialistic, crass person would really care about it. In which case, you're better off without them anyway!

Wow he sounds like an ass. Does he think his mother got no stretch marks when she was pregnant with him? Almost all the ladies I know have stretch marks. I'm covered in them despite being thin. Nothing will make them go away, but so what. At least we are healthy.
Trust me I did a lot of research and there is nothing that will remove or prevent stretchmarks if you're predisposed to them.
He obviously seems to think he's going to stay young and fresh forever and not lose any hair and suffer gravities cruel effects on unmentionable parts of his body. Moron. So glad my husband doesn't care about the stretch marks. Since I'm predisposed to them, I know my skin is going to go stretchmark crazy if we are one day blessed with a baby. It's nice to know I'm not married to someone who would add impossible standards like "I HOPE YOU DON'T GET SOMETHING YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL OVER WHETHER YOU GET OR NOT, I REALLY WOULDN'T LIKE THAT"

She should tell him she really can't stand the thought of hairy men and believes in the islamic teaching that pubic hair should be removed every 40 days.. for men too, and there is no way she would marry a guy who didn't book a monthly back sack and crack wax, and that's that, she will make the monthly salon appointment herself if she has to.

for someone sincere in a relationship... these are not the things to worry about.. as someone already mentioned.. a person who is serious in a relationship accepts the whole package... is he Mr. Perfect ? i guess the lady needs to realize its time to move on
