I may be wrong, but I think the rationale for burkas/niqab/hjiab is to ward off mens gaze and interest. It’s pretty effective that way; since I’ve never felt the slightest attraction towards someone wearing any of those.

so the majority is okay with hijab… not a preference but no problems either…
and there is a preference for clean-shaven guys but generally no prob with a bearded man either.

But here I’d like to point to something… hijab or the covering of the hair in front of non-mehrams is an obligation, keeping a beard on the other hand is sunnah thus not mandatory.

Actually i hate to admit this, but I don’t go for men with a beard because immidiately I feel he’d be too rigid… even in his daily life. If he’s already following more than what is required than I am way behind him at least at the present. It would be just hard to match up to that for me. But that does not mean I want someone who is toooo liberal - that is he has no clue about religion. At the least religion should be a part of his daily life.

Well PW I am not exactly religious fella. So if she wore hijab it’s good thing but i am not looking for hijabi girl to be honest with you. But if she later on insisted on wearing it..then i won’t stop her. But big no to abaya and niqaab. That is just my preference.

if she wore a hijab…I would like her to wear the Hijab but certainly wouldnt demand it.

if she wore a burka/ abaya…I wouldnt want her to wear a burka/abaya. I think Hijab is suffice. Again, I wouldnt stop her

That is any of these, as part of her daily life, not necessarily when you meet her for the first time.

I could get along with hijab as it makes little difference and it is easier to stop her from wearing it, but i won’t ever go near a niqab/burqa girl.

I have seen Hijabis snogging on bus stops. One was in my mates club. lol.
I had the bouncer throw her out.

Inexperience is not a problem, innocent ‘sex is for making babies’ type is :rotato:

Other things, hmm, probably that with a niqabi woman, you are expected to take her religiousness as the sole criterion and you wouldn’t be able to have a very open conversation which would help you decide if she’s a good match.
