it makes me sick. It's gross when they are all touchy touchy feely feely with one another, espeically since (like TLK, I'm sorry to say) Pakistani boys wear such tight clothes. I don't know how they breath in their super-tight jeans

also hate it when guys hold hands..weird!! I know it is a cultural thing and not a gay thing back home…but it is still weird…

Yes it is becoming fashion in guys to call their female friends dear. But it irritates me when i don’t like a guy or don’t consider him my very good friend . other than that if i have a good friendship with him it ok

I reckon goray are a bit too sensitive with the whole brotherly love thing (I am not using the term bromance, ****ing hate it). It is quite common amongst desis and I don't see anything wrong with it unless it is OTT like holding hands while walking and such stuff. I always hug my friends, and I say 'love you man' quite a bit - not with dreamy eyes looking into their eyes, but like will you have this sorted? ohh great, love you man. And I would often put my arm around a friend's back or neck while talking, when he is upset or down or anything. We are close like brothers and been like this since childhood, and honestly it doesn't bother me if it looks 'ewww gayyy' to someone.

I have heard this word “jigger” or “jigz” people use for their friends, and I never found it strange or weird but of course words like jaan/ darling would definitely sound yikes. I dont know if you men find if awkward or what when we females use it for each other. This is bad anyway that one thing is so alright for one gender and so awkward for another.

P.S: the picture posted, was what makes such words weirder from the mouths of men, for their friends

Me and my friends, we never use or say anything which shows any form of over-friendliness. Don't know, never even had these kind of friends who say "jani or even jiggar".

My guy friends call one another "cutie" (sometimes) and somehow it works with them. I guess they're just really lovable.

For some reason though, I think it would come across as really gross if two guys in Pakistan were saying that to one another. Kind of creeper-ish.

Its kind of natural to see all gooey, mushy. lovey dovey friendship between 2 girls ..

its equally irritating to see the same between two guys, in fact its quite nauseating .
