Its kind of natural to see all gooey, mushy. lovey dovey friendship between 2 girls ..

its equally irritating to see the same between two guys, in fact its quite nauseating .

I mean girls hug, they call each other jaan or darling or something like that. Imagine a guy calling another guy jaan.

and then every now and then you see people like such, especially (I am sorry to say) in our community.

I mean this pose is certainly a NO NO when guys are taking photos together.

Yeah guys shud not be open and expressive in any relationship and friendship. But guys do call their friends jaani (I have heard many of them). But hugging, lovey dovey friendship is not a very manly kinda thing to do. Leave it for girls only :D

I recently read a forum topic where someone from Pakistan was talking about those "gooey", "mooshey" relationships happening between guys in Pakistan. Here is what the guy said:

I hate that!!! I hate it even if a guy calls me “Dear” grrrrrrrrrrr…I dnt know why..but it sounds so fake

also hate it when guys hold hands..weird!! I know it is a cultural thing and not a gay thing back home…but it is still weird…

I call my best friends Darling and for some weird reason they call me Gulabo…dont ask me why or who came up with it.

I have heard men call each other jaani but it always sounded a bit strange to me.

Saw a dude with his head on another dude's shoulder, fast asleep, on the train.

Saw two dudes, walking and talking, and holding each other's pinkies.

A couple of other dudes, elbows locked together.

All of them desis, all of them non-gay.

I wish it were more natural with a girl and boy rather than 2 girls. :(
