That is the simplest definition. The last word is ‘affection’. I can substitute it with attraction as long as it’s nature remains the same, that is SPIRITUAL.
U just can’t call a random realtionship a platonic one. I don’t think I call my realtionship with my freinds necessarily platonic or unplatonic. It can be a purely professional relationship. Do we call a purely professional relationship a platonic relationsip? No, because it’s based on a tangible thing. Yet, for a relationship to be platonic there has to be a perceptible affinity in ur spirit (shall I say mind?) and not in ur flesh.

A platonic love/friendship can exist only without (physical) attraction.
