For the first scenario… yes I would. In fact I would prefer a broken engagement over a past affair.
For the second scenario… no I wouldn’t. If he is leaving someone for me today, he could leave me for another person tomorrow.

so u wud recommend they stay in a relationship where they dnt feel the love for their partner? and its not marriage just engagement.
