My fellow men, put your hands up if you have had to go through this…this..dastardly ‘window shopping’ trips with your women relatives.
The going around shops while buying nothing, for hours, hey I don’t mind walking with you at all…as long you give me your dosh to buy stuff too for having to go through with it or as long as you notice that hey I am there too, I haven’t vanished!
Yes damn frustrating and embarrassing especially when women folk in pakistan make the shopkeepers open up all the rolls of cloth they have and then don't buy anything, those shopkeepers have a lot of patience...
It sucks when you go to the first shop and find what you want to buy and like it too and hten go around the whole mall and then come back to the first shop and buy that very first thing ... ahhhh
You know..walking around sometimes gets you better deals. Saves $.... and there is no fun in going to a single store and buying first thing you see. Its boring.....
I hate shopping in Pakistan, HATE bargaining and people tarofying you all the time... gets on my nerves. So now I usually just go to Generations and buy my clothes from there, easy peasy.
Here in US, its so easy to shop :D So yes, I do take hours here and I usually leave my husband at home, or he goes his way and I go mine and we meet up for lunch/snacks in the food court after we're done :D
Shak, teach your mom/sisters/whoever you’re taking shopping how to drive, phir tumhari chutti
Thats what my dad did, he taught us how to drive and said now go shopping by yourself
