Guys and Gifts...

Re: Guys and Gifts...

I'm only joking, you keep your thread the way it is :)

Re: Guys and Gifts...

Well, you could pre-order him something. I'd be happy to get Mass Effect 3 on day one. I'm also anticipating Gears of War 3. If you want to give him something right away, you can always go with an MS Points card. That way he can buy downloadable content that he wants for the games he already has.

I could tell you what games I'd like for myself, but it might not be of much help since we have no way of knowing what he already has and my tastes are quite different from the average XBox owner (I'm a huge fan of RPGs but not the MMO kind and not as much in shooters).

However, out of the recently released games, one that seems quite popular (from visiting gaming forums) is Dead Space 2. That's the only recent release I have any interest in.

Re: Guys and Gifts...

Research shows that it is actually guys who are more in romance unlike women who basically want security and comfort in a relationship.

Re: Guys and Gifts...

I'd be happy with a pack of trojan. :@:

recession innit.

Re: Guys and Gifts...

I think V-days is more about showing and expressing love. Handing a Game or any other materialistic item beats the purpose which is doing something special for the one in your life that you don't usually do everyday. That's what sets it apart from all the other 364 days of the year. Since its a long distance relationship as you mentioned and you can't really spend the day together. You could Either sent him a nice hallmark card with lots of your thoughts and love in it. OR you could order a love book, which is kinda like digital album, where you can put your pictures of the times you spent together and write your thoughts and express your love in it. Its a great way to tell him, that you love him and at the same time, its something he will have for life to keep as a memory of your first valentines day after being together!!

To all the Anti-Valentinesday members: Sorry I am mushy... but Its matter of opinions...

Re: Guys and Gifts...

That seems to be backed up by the views of some posters here.

Re: Guys and Gifts...

A game is a perfectly acceptable gift for a gamer. If you know what he likes, no need to make things more complicated.

Re: Guys and Gifts...

Awwww TK that's sooo cute!! I love that idea....only prob is, I could never bring myself to right those mushy things in the card, cause i'm still a little shy towards him, and so I was thinking of a more funny approach lol But your right there are sooo many occasions that come up throughout the year were you can gift material things....this day is an excuse to be mushy...so might as well take advantage of it :P

Re: Guys and Gifts...

I'll save that for his bday lol

Re: Guys and Gifts...

phew, good to hear!!! :) welcome to the club

Re: Guys and Gifts...

I wouldn't expect but I will (correction) certainly feel good if I receive a gift when not expected.

Re: Guys and Gifts…

Since you’re going to be his wife, I wouldn’t expect a reaction like this:

Re: Guys and Gifts…

“o its hard to find gifts for guys. kia batoon sochtey sochtey thak jatee hoon”

This is conspiracy by girls/women to spread a lie so they dont have to buy anything at all. correct line is

“o its hard to find **CHEAP **gifts for men”

they just dont want to spend money on us
