Nope, I reply in the context to which people are writing. Your own brethren come here and write such stuff that these are their expectations of women, and so I question them. Go and talk to your own gender about how they feel about women, and then talk to the ladies about their annoyances.
I have lots of guy friends, never expected a drunken hook up with any of them, and if they drink, chances are, i'm not friends with them. :)

for me, i have a 2-3 gd guy friends too but just communicate with them via text, sometimes phone and in groups. dont meet them alone! at all!

I treasure my guy friends, but I've noticed that in our culture, it's really hard to make just simple GUY FRIENDS.
There are guys at work that I deal with that are desi, but it's mostly a friendly interaction at work, maybe with some nights out at dinners and such.
They're just so....low maintenance and low stress, plus they're nice and give you compliments like "you look pretty" and such unlike skank women friends who want to secretly compete with each other while being nice to the face.
I can never give my female friends nice compliments :(

I have old friends of mine from school on my FB. We chat sometimes. Comment on statuses. Even meet once in a while. I think guys know how to give space in friendship. Women can be quite annoying. [OK sorry, I'm in a woman bashing mood today. :(]
