Gurr..

Hello my trusted Guppies and Guppans

I have used gurr few times, but the recipes I used it in required boiling it with some water, this way all the matti settles at the bottom and I also removed the foam that forms on top while boiling, BUT I need to use it in a recipes that use gurr dierctly, I am not sure how clean will it be.

Any idea which brand of gurr I should buy (toronto) that some of you might have used in the past and it was actually clean.

Thanks.

Re: Gurr..

decent r u from toronto?? I bought couple different brands few years ago and I wouldnt use those straight without cleaning, recently I bought gurr from the organic brand that I use for daals, spices and atta (down to earth) the gurr tasted great but still had matti :(( these gurrs including organic one were bought from Iqbal. Ok will see
may be I will ask my mom to ask someone to bring the gurr that comes from her farms in pak, may be that will be clean(er)

Re: Gurr..

Moved out couple of years ago but have lived there long enough to know restaurants and grocery stores :)

and Yeah try it from Iqbal. We do not use it much but I am sure we bought it once from Iqbal Foods and it was all clean from mitti etc.
