Angel, where are you based out of? I think the garuntee is hard to follow-up on if you are located in Pk and most of your customers are located over seas because there is no way for people overseas to effectively follow-up should they need to utilize the provisions of the garuntee (i.e. sue the maker of the dress, get a refund etc) Other than that, its a nice thing you are doing if you are doing it sincerely, does your team make things on order as well aside from the pics shown? Also what percentage of the profit is given to the tailors/artists who do the work?

i have a question you said that you are only in pak for 3 months and are trying to find these ladies work. so after you leave who will be taking orders for these ladies and finding them work.
As i said before if you want the best for these ladies i suggest you think of a long term plan instead of short term.
the best thing for these ladies is to find a permanant job like a darzi or something until they can stand on there own two feet and move to the next level. and if they are poor they cant really be fussy can they.

Sana11, I dont think posting pictures of any woman on a public forum is appropriate. Just because they are poor and work for me does not give me the right to start posting pictures all over the web. How do you feel about your pictures being posted on the internet? I am a strong believer in equal right for the rich and poor so sorry if that sounded harsh.

shoponline4kaprey, I encourage people placing international orders to have a friend or relative come and look at the pieces personally cause otherwise it gets very inconvinient cause colors are not always 100% same as visible on screen and sometimes the embroidery in a picture looks heavy but actually it isnt and other times it looks simple but when you look at it upclose it can be very intricate. so it's always better if someone takes a look it. Before this my sister was doing it within the country so we never had these problems.
The profit is distributed evenly amongst all workers after taking out expenses like rent, food, utilities etc. My profit per dress is Rs.1000 on formal and Rs.5000 on bridal.
colorfuleyes, I didnt quite get your post but as far as the women are concerned they are my responsibility for now and were my sister's before her wedding. I have told many women here who I am talking to that I am inbetween things and dont know wether I will be staying or moving back.

Finding work for them and them working for me, I dont see your point? As far as guarantee is concerned I have already mentioned that I advice everyone to send a friend or relative to check out the work before ordering, otherwise it's better for both parties to not order. Thankyou.

Sara516, normally they work on orders but days when they dont have work we make them work on just making random dresses/samples, but I'm thankful that doesnt happen very often cause my sister aallloooot of friends and we have a very big family so something keeps coming up.
