Are there any Jazz enthusiasts here? If so, please share your all time favorite jazz albums. I love both Classical (John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Duke Ellington, Count Basie among many many other) and Contemporary (Chick Korea, Al-di-Meola, Chuck Mangione, and many many more).

Among one of my all time favorite albums is:

  • The Dave Brubeck Quartet (Time Out)

It includes Blue Rondo a la Turk; Take Five, and my most favorite Strange Meadow Lark

I also play sax (alto), I am not that good (but not that bad either).

My favorite time of the year is Newport Jazz Festival and also Rio festival.

It's not something i listen to everyday, but i got an album of Miles Davis and a few of David Sanborn.
Very popular here in Holland (and Europe) is the North Sea Jazz Festival held every year in The Hague.
