So share your experiences of logging into GS, do you do it from home, work, or both? How much time do you spend on it?
I have started to LOVE this forum. I have never been a chatroom, forum kind of a person but this just grew on me. The first thing I do at work after checking my email and facebook is log in here. And basically, I am just logged in all day long. This is what makes my day goes by fast if you ask me, lol. Sometimes I feel like I am majorly addicted to this place so I tried to keep myself away by just using it at work and not at home on the weekends or nights. But since this past weekend, I feel like that’s going to be hard to maintain since both yesterday and today had me logging in to read posts since morning. I think what works here is that everyone is so active and post so often. I feel like this is the place where you can talk about anything, sort of like a best friend bond. You don’t know everyone personally but they are here to help you, give their opinions on anything and everything, and that is exactly what alot of us need- no strings attached. Not to mention, the few of you who I have gotten to know better through here and facebook, I feel like you guys are awesome and I am so happy that I got to know you guys as friends
I joined GS back in early 2005. Its been my friend since than. I m no more that active, but i do try to read it through. Very informative some times :)
i joined GS when i was a SAHM.
the need to interact with ppl who have opinions must have made me come here. i dun actively post but i do read da posts every now and then. when i really need some advice, i pop my questions here and its really helpful to have the opinions of ppl from all walks of life. sort of gives me a lot of things to consider if i'm confused and tat opens up my mind to think out of da box
now tat i'm back in da office, i log in every morning to check.

I luv GS sooo much :D Its so helpful and discusses a wdie range of topics from politics to personal problems. The people on this fourm are amazing, they give absolutely fab advice and really help with sum of my problems and issues. It's nice to be able to join a fourm whr thr is such a range of opinions on different topics. Long live GS :D
I found GS after 9/11, stayed away for an year of two than finally became a regular, mostly at Life1 and KK1. After sometime wanted to leave the place, but got contacted by admins to become mod. Since than everyday, mostly two or times a day.
Its really a nice experience, you learn a lot just by being here.
It is very rare to find the kind of loyalty and diversity that we have at Gupshup.
I joined Gupshup LONG ago...almost 6 years ago in 2002...and though I've never been an active member...I visit it regularly and I find it really informative about so many things...:)
Well I’m not really addicted to GupShup, because I’ve stayed away for weeks in the past without facing any strong urge to want to go back. Even now I’m not very regular but sometimes I can spend hours on GS, although I’m not glued to the computer screen all this time. All in all, it’s a good place, and I think I come here because I have a crappy, boring life.
i joined over the summer and disappeared for a bit and came back......i love it now !!
it does make the day go by faster actually and makes me feel better when i am low :)
and its informative at times and ofcourse funny :D
and I am so happy that I got to know you guys as friends
