:D hmm...i was kinda bored, didn't have anything to do...so I thought I would redesign one of my templates and make a logo for gs, jus for fun...I've used parts of this template for other websites as well, so if you've seen some of it before, then don't worry, its all my work...made it frm scrap...Hope you guys like em, and plz comment and give suggestions....
LOL wuts PSA...sure i'll make somethin, gimme a description...and yea, photoshop 7.0 ...i have CS also, but i didn't use that for some reason, just used plain old 7.0...
its not really corporate logo / pro style. One can easily see the method u have used to make this using inner bevel and so on. A logo has to be transparent, and there are many other rules. U cant have different BG covering the logo.

I like the bg u have used in the 3rd one
The G shape is very good, but u can maybe make the little "S" look bit better as its not that neat! if u can make it bit bigger too that wud also look nice.
When u have a "float selection" try to invert it a bit to -1 or something and then make then apply the filter effects, cuz then u will get rid of the border lines that sometimes make the image look bit nasty
