It sheds it skin every so often and while it remains the same at it’s core it’s outer layer is brand new. After 6 years of posting most of the regulars I was accustom to appear to be gone, The American Gora invasion has subsided (with Seminol and the occasional OhioGuy being the exception), and new names have replaced old ones. But maybe it’s not Gupshup who’s shedding it’s skin, but more likely posters are shedding theirs and sometimes that includes Gupshup along with it. Almost 2200 days since I first posted, thanks for the ride thus far. Excuse me while I go buy a new keyboard, my tears may have damaged my old one.

the non pakistani posters here have added a lot, you included, while many times some ppl of pakistani background agreed with you and some did not, and sometimes the non pakistani background folks did not agree themselves e.g. u and OG on republicans vs democrats. I think it added a lot in people's understanding, seeing how others think etc etc.
GS will keep changing, ppl will come and go, maybe some will be here years from now no matter what format it takes, I can just imagine us as old fogies arguing with each others holograms in a few decades :D

Frankly this is proof that Al Gores WorldWideInterWeb thingy might just be here to stay.
Gupshup is a remarkably durable message board, thanks mostly to the persistent work of a handful of colorful charming folk who work to keep it decent and positive, even through very rough times.
Of course, there still has probably not been a Gora Moderator, but, even blacks were allowed into baseball eventually......

its a madhouse in my area, every bigbox store's and mall's parking lot is full, i dunno about other cities but chicagoans are def helping retail sales...

To be a mod , one has to contribute positively to the discussions going on, and i'm guessing not be an immature tool like most posters (yes i am including myself in that one, and please no whining abt how some mods suck, etc etc)...so why shud ethnicity have anything to do w/ it? :D
