Never joined any other forum than this and never will...met some Great people here...learnt alot about life from reading other's experiances, makes me feel connected to my country
Most important thing that I learnt was how to deal with freaky relatives :D
Connecting me with my roots, cos i don't really have a whole lot of desiness around me.
And GS is such a melting pot of people from different walks of life, so it's nice that that i get to converse with such a range of different people.

Mad Sci is right. This place will drop your GPA by at least 2 whole points if you’re not careful.
Actually, my GPA dipped. Only stabalized when I stopped coming here.

Also an excellent medium of wasting time and brain cells of which we all have a limited supply anyway ;)

I did projects for video and audio forums etc which enhanced my skills which I am learning and using in real life. I learnt typing, and pretty much everything from GS. Even though I have like the 2nd most or something number of posts on the website, I still managed to excel in school, university etc. All because of gupshup and yes I did make friends from GS who became my real good friends off GS. Plus I got to meet people in different countries who I would never have interacted with if it was not for GS.
Even with GS in my life and flooding 24/7 I managed to get all A*s and As in O lvls, As in A lvls and continous 4.0 GPA in university. This is GS for you. Positive influence.
