Luxury Item: What is your real first name and who gave you this name? Do you like it, what does it mean?
**HEAR ME:** the name is Nayef, I was named after my father's aunt who is now in Egypt from 1967 because of the zionist invasion that took place in Gazza, and because my grandfather did not se her since then he named me after her so that I may be a reminder of her to him.....but I don't know how can I remind him if I am much more distant than her.......!!!!
the name Nayef is Arabic and it means "high" (place, person or anything)
and of course I like it, it's my grandfather's gift to me...
an who don't like to be high
**Luxury Item:** Who introduced you to Gupshup? If you then knew what it would do to you, would still have joined it?
**HEAR ME:** no one, no thing... I just do't remember (although it's about one week since I jioned
..... bad memory huh
it just showed that the world is much filled than I imagined with people talking about things that they didn’t know…“would still have joined it?”
the problem is that I have that heart-knocking feeling when I meet someone who doesn’t know anything and claims that he knows everything… it just sadens me…
**Luxury Item:** What is your favorite forum on GS and why?
**HEAR ME:** until now I didn't explore much of the forum, but I think that I will like the Science & Philosophy forum...
**Luxury Item:** You have expressed some very strong opinions in World Affairs. Do you feel that world has a bias for Iraelis and a blind eye towards their treatment of the Palestinians?
**HEAR ME:** hot point.....
the problem is that when I exhibit my opinion it seems to the other side as if I am insulting them.....
about ur question...:
I don’y feel so only… I can see it, for example: what happened in Gineen before two years… every palestinian knows what happened their and many other people who came in close contact with the incident… and when we asked for truth uncovering from the UN the USA shouted “VETO”… can any one explain that???
**Luxury Item:** What is the truth? What happened in Jenin? What should happen to bring justice to those who suffered there?
HEAR ME: I don’t think that u don’t know the least possible inf about what happened in jenin… but the sure thing is that u did not know the whole story…the zionist army attaked with its full power tha refugee camp in Jenin… they destroyed about 10% of the refugee which takes 13000 Palestinians… they killed the people by every possible ugly way… they killed
a 57 old man on his weelchair who was carrying a white flag on it not only that … but also they rolled thier their tanks over his body… they killed a 13-year old girl… they destroyed the house of a disabled man over his motionless body (just like the other 70 old man in Rafah in Gaza) without mentioning the way of
killing that the zionist soldiers preferr the most: to shoot someone and let him to die form bleeding by forbidding anyone to aid him… they kept the aid convoys from enterring and help the people of the camp… the deads or the murdered people where part of the piles of cement and stones… u could see the hand of that man and the leg of that woman coming out from beneath the destroyed houses…and much more…
**Luxury Item:** Do you believe that debate over Israeli-Palestinian issue is skewed by the US media in the favor of Israelis?
**HEAR ME:** This point is the only thing that that give an excuse to the American people: They don't know the real truth....I can't say it's US media....... because, the media of some country should reveal the truth to their people not to blind them.........
**Luxury Item:** Again, I'd like you to be more specific about the "truth". Unrest in the occupied territories is shown [in the US news media] as unrest in Israel proper, there is no distinction. This is a well known fact. Are you saying that the viewership in the US is not demanding better journalism or coverage of the conflict from the news media?
**HEAR ME:** the truth I am pointng to here is the root of this tragedy..... the beginnings of these consequences.....the transfer plan of the paestinian people out of Palestine so that it would be ready for the migrates zionists from all over the world.... this is not todays talk........ this is what is being done all over these 110 years since Hertzl "chose" Palestine to be the home of the zionist!!!!!!!!!!!
**Luxury Item:** Do you know what's going on in West Bank today?
**HEAR ME:** ha ha ha
do you know what is happining since the beginning of the last century??
thousands of villages were destroyed, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were sent out of there homeland as refugees, thousands of Palestinians were killed ("for example"regnant women were cut and their babies were killed before their mothers eyes…), and now everyday many palestinians are facing the coninuous problemd of food living and honor…
all of these things did not change our minds or our believes, not even the time…yes the wall is parting fathers and sons, brothers and sisters, it even separates the people of the same house and putting Al Quds under very strict siege.
in spite of all of this the palestinians have already started the pennetration of the wall…logicaly we can not say that we can do anything about it… but alhamd lellah we don not think by pure logic… we do whatever we can… and rely on Allah for help…
and about the satelments......:
they are here to do business so if the business is ruined no one will stay.......
after all they sold their satelments in gaza for good amount of cash.....
**Luxury Item:** Since the settlement expansion continues in the West Bank w/the encirclement of Jerusalem by the Wall, do you feel that West Bank is a lost cause?
**HEAR ME:** if or my father or my grandfather thought so then"maybe" I would........ but fortunately the source of their faith in the upcoming justice didn't ( and it wont) dry...... so I will keep on living with
this faith nutil I say goodbye to this world and then someone else wil carry it........
**Luxury Item:** It would be unfair to our readers if I don't ask about living under an occupation. What is life like living under an occupation? What are the challenges, difficulties that people face everyday? Roadblocks? Electricty ? Water ? How does an average Palestinian go about earing his livelihood under an occupation?
**HEAR ME:** to be clear.. I am not living now in Palestine..... but I have been there for several times and I have heared the stories of my friends who have suffered many colors of turtor....for me....... eery time I have to go back to Gaza I ahve to take one of two choices:
-through Jordan: we have to cross at least 3 borders… and we have to wait on each of them for hours and to struggle so that we can cross every border… on one of these borders we should walk about one kilometer an inclining ground carrying around our luggage and our families…
-the other way is through Egypt… which is shorter in distance but more expensive regarding the time and effort neede to cross the one line borders… this problem is due to the fact that the zionists do open these borders for few huors (5 or 6) a day!!! and some times they do not open it at all
for example:
in the summer of 2004 my parents tryed to go to Gaza to visit my ill 75 years-old grandfather, the borders was kept shut for more than two months and about 15000 palestinians accumulated on the boreders under the sun of the desert women, children and old men, many pregnant gave birth to their children on these borders… and many people died…
what about the movement of the Palestinians in the westbank...... ??
my friend told me that there was a checkpoint (concrete blocks) every several kilometers between any to towns… and there are some arial ones of these checkpoints, and for u to know that about 100 meter of some of these points the Palestinians struggles through the mountains to get to the other side so that they can get the medicine or get to the hospital or lay the baybies, all of that because the “defending” zionist soldier did not feel to let them pass!!!
about the other issues:
food is something they (zionist) binifit from by taxes or by direct selling because of the iron ring that surround Gaza and the westbank, but also they can control it as they wish…that what happened in Gaza two years ago when they closed the borders around Gaza until the children milk was about to finish…
in westbank they torn it to parts… and done something creative to every part… they placed their chemical factories around Palestinian towns which polluted the air and the underground water, other towns they directed
their sewer water towards it, they polluted the towns to the level that the students could not go to their schools because of the dirty streets.
some other towns are now FULLY surrounded by the wall, and the people can only use ONE gate to and out of the town… and this gate is governed by the temper of the zionist commandor…
what about the occupiers in the settlements ??
they turned the life of any Palestinian around the settlements into hell… in al Khalil… ONE THOUSAND shops (Palestinian owners) where closed because of the occupiers of the settlement in the city who are merely hundred extorters!!!
they attack the people of the city like animals under the supervising and protection of the “DEFENDING” forces…and the same applies for many other cities…come to think of it… I wonder why do the Palestinians do these TERRIBL bombings???
**Luxury Item:** You didn't choose the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. You were born into it. Do you ever wish that you were not born a Palestinian?
**HEAR ME:** first.... it is not a Palestinian affair alone....... it does concern whoever support the justice.......about me..... as long as I am on the right side then no worries and no regrets........Mohammed (PBUH) said:"part of my people will stay in a countinuous jihad until the jdgement day, not affected
by whome oppose them, they are in Bait Al Maqdi and the yards of Bait Al Maqdis" how can I wish not to be one of them after this??
**Luxury Item:** What would bring peace to the Middle-East?
**HEAR ME:** when everything turns back to what it was before this tragedy started........ when Palestinians (muslims, christians and jews) owned their land their true Palestine without any outsiders ruining the place
**Luxury Item:** Do you have any Israeli/Jewish friends?
**HEAR ME:** I barely have some arab friends
I am very precise chosing my friends … they have to accomplish certain conditions to enter the club of “Nayef’s friends” and unfotunately… I did not meet any jewish people except for those who are turnning our “going-home”
journey into hell on the borders…but I don’t mind being friends with any jewsih… on the other hand I don’t think that I would be a freind for a zionest
**Luxury Item:** Knowing what you know now, would you introduce GupShup to your Arab/Palestinian friends?
**HEAR ME:** of course..... I do have a dear friend from Pakistan, just today I told him about this forum and I hope he accompany me in this journey........
I wish u good FATE....... I mean it
