who is your favorite actor/actress in Paki dramas?
I would have to side a bit w/ humayan (sp) saeed and and and hmm let me seeee…

Muniya, I think most of the actors and actresses act well.
I like Noman Ejaz a lot though - he always has interesting roles. Faryal Gohar, and Aisha Khan (in Muqaam) are my favorites out of the girls.
But dont ya think they ought to begin investing in new performers...I mean Ayesha Sana is on in at least 3 dramas on Prime at once, Irum Hassan is like all over the place on Prime , etc etc...they repeat the actors/actresses too much...I like to see new people.
I like quite a few of them actually. Noman Ejaz, Nabeel, HumayooN, Asad, Qaisar Khan, Tauqeer Nasir, etc.
In actresses, Sadia Imam, Maria Wasti, and a few others who'se names i am forgetting. The ayesha girl in Moqaam is good too.
Salim Nasir, Ustad-from-Ilzam, Nabeel, Nauman Ijaz, and Asif Raza Mir round off my list of male performers. BTW, the first two are in a class of their own.
Khalida Riyasat and Shehnaz Sheikh are fantastic. Sadly none of the present actresses are worth even a mention. Nadia Khan was a breath of fresh air but didn't last.
God how I wish I was twenty years older, then Ms Sheikh would be Mrs. sambrialian.

Living in a country with very limited access to Pakistani dramas I don’t know much about the actors.
All I know is, that Humayoon Saeed and Vaneeza Ahmad seem to be very popular theses days, as they appear in every other drama.

She's only the best actress that ever came out of Pakistan. I have been trying to find out more about her for a long time now without too much success.
If you want to see her range of acting skills, see Ankahi and Tanhaayian. She plays two extremely different people with stunning results. She was absolutely fantastic. Brilliant actress! She was a natural, sadly she stopped acting after getting married. She supposedly said that she would start acting again if an appropriate offer came along.
Just consider the fact that she did only two plays that I know of and both are reputedly the best in PTV history. I hope that makes it clear who she was.
Numaan Ijaz, Nabeel, HumayoN saeed and this Talat guy, dunno his last name. In girls, i like Seemi Zaidi, Aysha khan,Mahnoor Baloch and Faryal Gohar.
I like Kashif Mehmood,..the one in Sawan (ADIL), Dil Hi Tho Hai, Baazi(AMIR) etc !!
