I have a question..someone told me that there is a prepaid card in pakistan, where you can call US for 7 rupees a minute…is it true?

yeah there is
PTCL calling cards
u need to have a PTCL land line for that i think (not sure)
i dont know if the charge is 7 rupees though, it could be a bit higher

nothing abt the rates of these cards on the ptcl website
but i have heard abt em and supposedly they r good and cheap
btw ptcl has also cut down on trunk call charges on their normal service, its not as expensive as it used to be

Irem there are other cards as well, not just ptcl and I think 7 Rs per minute wala card ptcl ka nahi hai...Gosh I dont remember the name :(

yes, sheraz, this new company launched these new cards last month that boasts of very low rates something like the rates you mentioned and even lower. DVCOM is the company i think and the cards must be available at all good shops i guess.
