I'm not a real fan of guns i've used many in my time and to be honest i'd still rather settle a dispute with fists or even better with a game of chess.
Warfare is really bad these days becuase weapons are given to trigger happy idiots who probably get whooped without them. Personally i still prefer close quarter fighting, weapons are for cowards mostly, though in war they can be used they should be used against opponents of simmilar abilities.
Besides before guns the bow was the ultimate weapon of my ancestors as well as the sword, i reckon give it about another four hundred years and guns will be obsolete as well as nukes so men will have to fight using bodypower!
How i long for a post apocalyptic world.
Besides who fields armies that big anyway? This guns useless as a major battle winner unless your fighting zombies or aliens? Even the best gun in the world will still be vulnerable to simpler devices like the RPG or even simpler mines and roadside bombs.
Anyway thats enough of my lecturing..... the damn gun shoots fast i'll give it that.
Though the logistical supplies needed for it are probably not suitable for it as an offensive weapon, it's too cumbersome for operations in afghanistan for example. Used as a defensive weapon on a camp or helicopter gunship and it'll work much better.
It's also certianly not the fastest gun out there i've seen bigger versions of this thing in soviet arsenals, as well as believe it or not Machine-cannon and grenade launchers that take belt fed ammo and fire at 300rpm or more.
Oh well i'll stick to my knife thankyou..... if your wondering how one man and his knife could be better than that gun....... simple the knife man can get a better gun or even take that from whover owns one. The knifeman always wins see!
