I know that sounds racist but its a fact.

Ask any pathan fruit vendor, driver, tailor, sec guard, tandoor wala and he will proudly tell you he chased the polio vaccination teams out of his mohallah or beat his wife for letting them vaccinate their child.

Jahalat ki iss mulk main kami nahi…bass pathan quom aik do haath agay hai

It sounds racist because it is. The health workers murdered were also from KP and Pathan trying their best to vaccinate children. Pathans are no more ignorant than the rest of the country.

This story has upset me so much. We already have odds stacked against us as Pakistanis without adding polio to the mix. all I can think of are the children who are going to suffer.
