Gumnam Pakistanis.

GUMNAM PAKISTANIS.

Once I was reading somewhere that in the old times there was a king who would remember names and faces of his entire army (now please don’t tell me that the king might have 20 soldiers).

Dale Carnegie has written some very nice books on human behavior and every line of his books is like a candle in the dark. “How To Win Friends And Influenced People” and “How To Stop Worrying And Start Living” are two of his most outstanding masterpieces.

In his book,” How To Win Friends And Influenced People” he writes:

(1) Did you ever notice, if you ever had a group photograph with your family or friends and when the prints come after developing in your hand, the first thing you do is look, “where are you standing” regardless of your mother, father, brother or sister or a group of friends in the picture. This is human nature that you want to know yourself first and foremost.

(2) He taped hundreds of telephone calls and found out that when you are talking over the phone, you use “I” more often than “You”.

(3) Once A jockey won a horse race and the gold medal he was awarded, he put that to his horse’s neck. At this point, Dale Carnegie asks, “ what the horse knows about the medal and what knows for the job he has done winning the race?
See as humans and living in the most modern of our times, how we do stupid things? But again, this is an expression of human feelings which as humans we want to express one way or the other.

(4) Have you ever noticed that while traveling in a train, bus or shopping in the mall, when you come across some stranger whom you met few days or weeks back or a dear friend who meets you suddenly after 10-12 years and he quickly runs to you with a big grin saying hi to you by calling your first name? On the one hand, you will greet him very warmly and shake hand, on the second, you will think how he remembers your name? The same way, your 10 years old school mate, class teacher or a boss to whom you worked some 10-12 years back meets you after a long time and when meets you by calling you with your name how nice it feels?

(5)You go to a shop to buy some stuff and the shop keeper has run out the stock…….now he tells you roughly, “I don’t have it” or he tells you smilingly, “ sorry sir (or Tariq Sahib…..calling by your name) I have finished that stock, if you could please check tomorrow, surely, I will have it for you”.
How do you feel the latter way….cool…..Is that not true?

(6) Did you ever realize that when you are writing a letter to your mom, dad, brother or sister or a very dear friend, you always start with “my dear Ammi, papa, brother sister and while addressing a friend, use his first name, my dear Tariq, Hassan, Bakar instead of writing Sir, Dear Sir or Dear Friend simply, which is blend, formal and ceremonial.

(7) Have you ever seen a poet, writer, scientist, researcher or any other prominent person who used a fake name or wrote anonymously his work of art or creation by a fake name?

The bottom line is that as humans, we not only want to be known by our names which feels good but in reality, it gives us a sense of our existence, presence, truthfulness, identity and gospel of our life.

Remember one thing, “only a liar, fake, con man and a performer might hide his identity but righteous, genuine, true, authentic and accurate person would never hide his identity or presence.
(sacha wo jo chhat pay charrh kar bolay aur jhoota moonh chhupae).

I don’t know many but I have come across at least a dozen active Discussion/Community Forums on the net which are most operated from the USA and Europe and run by Pakistanis. A greater part of the participating members of those Forums are Pakistanis but 95% of the people write by fake IDs/names. Don’t tell me those fake people are Indians. Yes, I do agree some of them might be Indians but like drop in a ocean because, the way participants have knowledge of our cities, districts, organizations, government functionaries and overall Pakistani system, an Indian cannot have it.

So my point is, if you are right in your intentions and want to improve the society of Pakistan. You are patriot (the way you pose Pakistan and Pakistani) and are true nationalists, than why you hide your ID and write by fake names? If you write by true name, what is the problem?

If you think, by fake name, you can tell some body off, abuse him, use obnoxious language or threat him than don’t you think, first of all, this is Internet world, no body cares who is who and no one can harm anyone secondly, don’t you think, you are hiding by everyone but not from God and when you talk about Islam and Pakistan, you pose, you own God and Pakistan is your private property and the other party is trespassing it?

If your start and base is a lie and fake, who is gonna be impressed by your writing and your thoughts?

These forums are not gossiping or chatting places because, you do have chats through Yahoo and hotmail. These Forums are visited by thousands and thousands and a large number of people record their rebuttals and messages too on your writings, that means, you are telling a lie in a broad day light to thousands everyday.

Don’t you feel shame or you conscience never remorse and repents for the work which literally has no impact except ‘time killing’. If this is your mission, what is the difference between a loiterer and slacker and you?

I wonder when people are literally ready to fight over various issues and pose as Pakistan was created by his father or grand father and on the same time, he is writing with fake name.

Please give me just one reason, what is your point or logic behind for writing with fake name?

I understand the meaning of ‘privacy’ ‘protection’ and ‘safety’ but no one is asking your age, physical address, father’s name, city or town or other personal information. If I am writing by SHAFIQ KHAN from Canada, there might be thousands of SHAFIQ KHAN in Canada and what am I losing by giving my correct name? If you don’t believe me, just search on the internet through all search engines and I can bet you on anything that you cannot find out my true existence.

In every human, there is another human and that is called zameer (conscience). We might be sleeping pf your whole life or hiding your face in the sand but that inner human (zameer) is always awake. It’s just a matter of time when you open your eyes and find out that zameer.

Have you ever seen a fruit tree bearing a sweet fruit which has been irrigated whole life with malignant water?
