Iranian, Afghan and Sindhi Mosques are beautiful.

this is masjid e jame(friday mosque )in iran

but the pic i used in this banner was there in my pc few days back

It’s a shame there’s only tilework on the two Gombad and the Baab…

IS the rest of it bare due to whethering or did they not tile it?

The whole complex being tiled like that would be well gorgeous, I’ve always found eatern architecture to be a bit daunting and claustraphobic but I bet these blue mosques looked well pretty when they were first built.
