I had a pretty decent experience with gulf, all the way up till Abu Dhabi. From there to Pak, I am not sure who was worst, passengers or the crew.

All usa to dubai bound flights are pretty good and flight crew behaves good, when we fly to Karachi bound flights, Allah meri toba, those air hostesses are high on crankiness.

well my route is always dubai or abu dhabi to pakistan but always have great experience
