^That would be an interesting thread. It isn’t just Arabic, there are loads of words borrowed from Dari/Persian as well.
In keeping with this thread, I just thought of more flower names (in Dari/Persian):
- Laleh لاله (tulip)
- Gulbahar گلبهار (spring rose)
- Shokufeh شکوفه (blossom)
- Ghoncheh غنچه (flower bud)
