That’s interesting. Warda (spelled ورده in Pashto) means rose in Pashto as well. Another name that means rose is the Dari/Persian name Nasrin نسرین. It specifically means “wild rose.” The name Nilofer/Niloofar نیلوفر is also flower related. It means “water lilly” in Dari/Persian.

May be we should open a thread on ‘Arabic influence on local langauge’ to discover words which are Arabic , but with the passage of time and variation in accent they can’t be recognised as Arabic
