I’m not certain why we have so many flower related names. I just thought of a few more actually:

Reday ړيدې (poppy)
Gedi ګېډئ (bunch of flowers)
Babrak بابرک (flower)
Ghatool غټول (tulip)
Gulab ګلاب (rose)

Come to think of it, we seem to have loads of plant related names.

What about Gul e Laala which is normally shorten to Laalai?
