I’m not certain why we have so many flower related names. I just thought of a few more actually:
Reday ړيدې (poppy)
Gedi ګېډئ (bunch of flowers)
Babrak بابرک (flower)
Ghatool غټول (tulip)
Gulab ګلاب (rose)
Come to think of it, we seem to have** loads of plant related names**.
