These are gorgeous! But I don’t remember seeing the first two on their site…well maybe they didn’t post all the colors online.

hi saadia, thanks for putting up the pics , i'm loving the designs, very simple but very classy. The second last one in blue is lovely, on the website they've got it listed in red and black but i''m loving the blue. Loving the embellishments on the pink one but i also really really love the black and white suit. Very very lovely :)

Neera, your colours are so nice, I only saw the last yellow one at the idea plaza, rest of the stuff there wasn't so nice as u have gotten, did u order online and if yes, do they do stitching also?

liking the suits Neera, did you order them from the gul ahmed site? I'm loving the yellow one, its is so vibrant and gorgeous. The "putties" on the suits are very pretty. thanks for sharing.

Hi saadia, did u by any chance have a look at the ready made kurtas at Ideas? They have uploaded some more on the website and they look quite nice but i was hoping somebody might have seen them up close.:)

what I would like to know is for those designs which have such pretty beads and stones and stuff on them like this one:

How would you wash them??
whole point of lawn is to wear casually so i guess you would be wearing them a lot and then washing is required. Won’t these beads come out or get messey if you machine wash these dresses.
you have come up with the same question that’s been in my mind (washing). I don’t have any solution for it at the moment. One option is drycleaning.
I did not get my suits from gulahmed online shop (they only send unstitched ones). I got mine from someone I know in pak.

i hand wash them and the beads etc seem to be ok so far

yeah i hand wash them too shirts only ...and then hang dry them ....caz dryer is not good for sequins too...

are the suits really like on the catalogue/online shop ??
^^from my experience most suits turn out to be the same but some look lighter in colors comapred to online.
are all gul ahmed suits still available...or some also out of stock ??? did anybody buy something from their stitched garments collection ???

i think dryclean would be the best option for embellished embroidered ones..dont take risks..my maid ruins the sequins n laces when she washes em
hand wash the embellished casual clothes ....that's what I do and the beads and stuff stay intact
gul ahmed's fabrics are of good quality and i liked some of the prints a lot :)

I got the printed catalog while I was in Pak.. Nadia hussain looks horrendous, can’t even spill what her ‘eyes’ resemble
