I recently came back from pakistan and got some 6-7 gul ahmad lawn suits, they were available at ideas plaza and some shops at saddar, got them stiched and everything and am loving them.

HI Saadia, did the IDEAS store stock the ready made kurtas and did you by any chance have a look at them?

hello, the idea store has 3 floors, full with Gul Ahmed’s stuff, like bed sheets, decortions ect, I did see some ready made stuff like kurtas there, but I didnt take a closer look at them, as I was mainly interested in the chiffon lawn. They did not have all of the stock as many females were coming and asking, ‘do u have this print yet?’
Mostly the good prints were sold out or were not avaible. I got these ones.

I was just looking at some prints on the website and I recognised one of my suits (my cousin in Khi designed it and got it stitched for me)

I’m not sure whether or this is Gul Ahmad lawn or not but I love this suit!
There’s SO much u can get made with lawn these days!

Shinno those are nice designs, you really make so much out of a simple lawn suit.
I actually went into the hassle of getting a fancy lace for my gul ahmad lawn suit but the tailor didnt sew it to the right suit but to different one, I forgat him for it, as he was sewing 10 suits at one time, so he got confused.

I recently saw some girls wearing Gul Ahmad collection and they got it stitched exactly like in the pictures, looked really nice and the prints just looked like in the pictures.

Guys i sent off another email to GA today ( they must be sick of me!) about whether they'll be uploading anymore of their ready made kurtas as per the magazine. They sent one back saying they were just waiting for the outfits to be stiched and they'll send out an email once they've been uploaded. GA designs rock! and i love your clothes Shinoo, very pretty.

I finally sent my order online (using a made-up passport number...don't say anyhting!) Anyway they accepted if and replied that in order to send the clothes out they would need a copy of my passport etc.
I wrote back (rather long..) e-mail re ID theft and how potential cust. would be put off etc etc etc and they said they would offer my a 'relaxation' and just to send proof of address. I am thinking of sending a letter from my library for overdue books. they said this would be fine. RESULT!!!
thought it might help people wanting to order...

hey littlemiss, well done for being so brave and taking the first step! what did u order and how long will it take? I think u were right to put in a fake passport number as i'd be very dubious giving out such details online. How long will your suits take to get here? internet zindabad!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in Europe and I just ordered a suit off gulahmad.. it came within 3 days!!

hey guys...just one question about ordering from gul ahmed online..
1) does the suits look in reality also nice ??
2) the single collection of ladies garments..are the tunics/kaftans/kurtas ready-made or not ??
hm another question did u already sew ur summer lawn suits?? i am not sure if u shuld make a trouser of lawn or not...would be nice if u could help me :)
