Everytime someone shows up with a compelling arguement about errors and inonsistencies, the so called experts readily come up with "oh yeah - you don't understand Islam". Except such times have become numerous and the norm.
Why does Quran say that? - oh, that was not in the original
Why does this Malvi say this? - oh, that's not what Quran says
Why does this fatwa come about? - oh, that guy is an extremist
Why do so many youth join LeT et al? - oh not really, that's a small minority
Why does the entire province elect that party then? - oh, that province is backward
